2026 Jeep Compass vs 2026 Toyota RAV4

2026 Jeep Compass and 2026 Toyota RAV4 shown side by side

Jeep's 2026 Compass launched at the lower entry price, and every grade, or trim level, has all-wheel drive (AWD). Toyota's 2026 RAV4 Hybrid is rated for much higher EPA fuel economy and makes more power. Here in Western Pennsylvania, shoppers comparing compact SUVs often put these two side by side. The right fit comes down to which of those strengths matters more to you.

On EPA combined ratings, the all-wheel-drive RAV4 Hybrid LE and SE come in 16 mpg higher than the Compass. The RAV4 Hybrid's EPA ratings run higher in the city than on the highway, while the Compass's run the other way, so the gap is widest in town.
